Did I forget to mention.....

We're off to Peru!  We landed late last night and this morning woke to a beautiful blue ski and the smell of the ocean filling the air. My sister-in-law, Esther, says Lima's weather is like "the belly of a donkey" (which I love, BTW), but today challenges that description.  Our hotel, the San Antonio Abad, is close to the ocean but still very much the city. We are sitting in a small courtyard for breakfast that attempts to block the traffic noises and other city sounds. Nate is picking flowers off the plants and putting them behind his ear.  He stops when I tell him he looks beautiful.
Nate loves staying in hotels, easily impressed by the amount of beds in one room.  He also loves the breakfast this morning of scrambled huevos and as many rolls as he can eat, which impresses the waitress.  He says to me that we must learn more Spanish, and I certainly agree, when we see what others get for breakfast because they know how to order.  The table next to us had a much fancier plate of eggs rolled in tortillas.  I should have known that only food would get Nate to try out some new words.
And now for Nate's own words.....
